Who is the creator of this project?

This art project is curated by artist Matt Chessco who is based in Montreal and Los Angeles.

Matt dropped his engineering job in 2018 to become an artist.

Since then, he has acquired over 6 million followers across all platforms while his entertaining art videos have received over 2 billion views.

What is the purpose of this project?

The purpose of this project is to determine who is the greatest of all time between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo by collecting votes from fans.

Why is voting ending exactly 17 days after the World Cup?

In Spanish (Messi's first language) and Portuguese (Ronaldo's first language), the word "17" is the pronounced "ten seven" which is, respectively, the jersey number of Messi and Ronaldo.

What will happen when the countdown ends on August 5th?

When the countdown ends, voting will close, and the results will be frozen in time for the world to see.
